No trip to the Tetons is complete without paying a visit to one of the most photographed barns in America. We didn't make it for sunrise due to our limited time there and other locations I wanted to shoot but did arrive early enough in the morning to capture some beautiful morning light and one of my favorite comps with the barn framed by the old cottonwood trees.

I LOVE the outdoors, and the mountains are my happy place. Many years ago, we visited the Canadian Rockies, and we instantly fell in love with what the mountains have to offer, from breathtaking scenery to countless wildlife opportunities. I remember traveling through a small town in British Columbia, Radium Hot Springs, where the sign that welcomes you to town says, “Mountains bring peace to the people.”. That quote and John Muir’s quote, “The mountains are calling and I must go” have resonated with me ever since.
