Driving along in Southern Utah with nothing but scrub in sight, we came upon this amazing patch of wildflowers along the highway, complete with an old relic of a truck adorned with even more beautiful flowers. What a great way to recycle.

I LOVE the outdoors, and the mountains are my happy place. Many years ago, we visited the Canadian Rockies, and we instantly fell in love with what the mountains have to offer, from breathtaking scenery to countless wildlife opportunities. I remember traveling through a small town in British Columbia, Radium Hot Springs, where the sign that welcomes you to town says, “Mountains bring peace to the people.”. That quote and John Muir’s quote, “The mountains are calling and I must go” have resonated with me ever since.
