Lower Antelope Canyon, located just outside of Page, Arizona is much less crowded than Upper Antelope Canyon, and if you get there early enough, you might be as lucky as we were to have the entire place to ourselves for nearly an hour. It is such an amazing place, full of sculpted natural beauty around every turn.

I LOVE the outdoors, and the mountains are my happy place. Many years ago, we visited the Canadian Rockies, and we instantly fell in love with what the mountains have to offer, from breathtaking scenery to countless wildlife opportunities. I remember traveling through a small town in British Columbia, Radium Hot Springs, where the sign that welcomes you to town says, “Mountains bring peace to the people.”. That quote and John Muir’s quote, “The mountains are calling and I must go” have resonated with me ever since. Whether it's shooting landscapes or wildlife, I find such a sense of peace and solitude just being there in the moment. Nourishment for the soul....a reminder for me that life is good. And a reminder for all, "Life is...
